Welcome to the Bishop's University Astronomical Observatory website!

Located on the roof of the Nicolls building on Bishop’s University Campus in the charming borough of Lennoxville, the observatory is a recent and exciting addition to Bishop's University. The ASH Dome observatory houses a PlaneWave 17" (f/6.8) Dall-Kirkham corrected optical design telescope which is used to enrich the undergraduate students’ learning experience and give graduate students another tool with which to broaden their horizons. The observatory is open to the public for tours and stellar evenings.
