Meeting Location and How to Get There

The 3rd BRITE Science Workshop will take place at the Auberge du Lac Taureau (http://www.lactaureau.com), located 2.5h north of Montréal, Canada in the area of Lanaudiere, which is in the wilderness of Quebec Province.

Surrounded by water and nature, Auberge du Lac Taureau offers a tranquil location. We have arranged special rates with the resort that will include room, meals and conference registration. Due to the remote location, the LOC strongly encourages all participants to stay at the conference venue.

Getting there:

The most direct point of access is Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau international airport (airport code YUL). There are flights with Austrian and Lufthansa with arrival times between 11:50 and 16:40 on Sunday August 6th.

The LOC has arranged for a chartered bus that will collect participants at YUL airport on Sunday August 6th at 18:00 and take them directly to the hotel. The bus will bring participants back to YUL on Friday August 11th leaving Auberge du Lac Taureau at 12:00. The final cost of the bus will depend on demand. At capacity (50 seats), the bus will cost $80 for both directions. The option for one-way travel (to or from) is available.
