NEWS AND UPDATES
- August 29th -- Textbooks have arrived at the Bookstore.
- September 11th -- The Physics Help Centre will be open next week (J4 in the evenings).
- September 27th -- A tutorial for Assignment #2 will be held in N1 (or N2) at 5pm on Sunday, Sept. 29th.
- September 28th -- [HINT: Question #11] Draw a graph of x versus t. Remember that the car and truck will have the SAME values of the "x" coordinate when they meet.
- October 1st -- The due date for Assignment #2 has been postponed until Friday, October 4th!
- October 4th -- A tutorial for Assignment #3 will be held in N2 at 5pm on Sunday, Oct. 6th.
- October 16th -- Don't forget that the answers to Assignments #1, 2, and 3 are NOW available from the front desk of the Library (on reserve).
- October 16th -- A tutorial for Assignment #4 will be held in N2 at 5:30pm - 7pm on Thursday, Oct. 17th (feel free to drop in any time).
- October 17th -- An extensive set of practice exercises for the Midterm test can be found here. These are the questions that will be reviewed by Prof. Turcotte in an upcoming lab tutorial session.
- October 18th -- Late submissions for Assignment #4 will still be accepted (without penalty). Please submit them to J1 as soon as you can!
- October 22nd -- A tutorial for Assignment #5 will be held in N2 at 5:30pm - 7pm on Thursday, Oct. 24th (feel free to drop in any time).
- October 23rd -- A tutorial session for the MidTerm Test will be held in Nicolls 2 (N2) on Sunday October 27th at 3:00pm. The questions to be discussed can be found here .
- October 23rd -- I will supply the calculators for all of the tests. They are extremely simple ones; if you have problems with the calculators during the test, just ask me to help you.
- October 23rd -- The calculators that will be used are located in J117A (Jean Porter or Nancy Robichaud is the Secretary there). You can ask her to allow you to try one out.
- October 29th -- Problem #33 has been REMOVED from Assignment #5 (you only need to do 4 questions and #38 is a BONUS question).

- November 12th -- The MidTerm tests will be returned in Wednesday's class (Nov. 13th).
- November 13th -- A tutorial for Assignment #7 will be held in N2 at 3:00pm - 4:30pm on Sunday, Nov. 17th (feel free to drop in any time).
- November 15th -- A tutorial to review the answers for the MidTerm Test will be held in J120 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm on Monday, Nov. 18th (feel free to drop in at any time).
- November 21st -- A tutorial session for Assignment #8 will be held in Nicolls 2 (N2) on Sunday November 24th at 2:30pm.
- November 22nd -- Please NOTE that the due date and one of the questions for Assignment #8 has CHANGED.
- November 23rd -- Review questions from the final sections of the course can be found here. We will have a tutorial for this and the entire course on Saturday afternoon of December 7th (time to be announced).
- November 23rd -- I will hold a COURSE REVIEW session on Wednesday November 27th in BWH (our classroom) starting at 10am for those of you who are interested.
- November 27th -- I have ADDED an extra (challenging) question on centripetal motion to the review questions from the final sections of the course that can be found HERE.
- November 27th -- We will have a tutorial for these questions on Saturday afternoon, December 7th at 2pm in N1.
- December 4th -- Assignment #7 has been marked and is in two envelopes (PHY191 and PHY193) on the door of Johnson 2 (my office). The solutions are on reserve in the Library.
- December 5th -- Assignment #8 has been marked and is in two envelopes (PHY191 and PHY193) on the door of Johnson 2. The solutions are on reserve in the Library.

- December 9th -- Section III (Multiple Choice) of the Final Exam has now been marked and the marks entered. Sections I and II will be marked by next week.
- December 14th -- Sections I and II of the Final Exam have been marked and the course marks have been submitted to MyBU soon after I have checked the marking on the exam.
- December 15th -- The course marks have been calculated and will be submitted to MyBU tomorrow. Have a very enjoyable Holiday!
