NEWS AND UPDATES
- January 30th -- More textbooks are now in the Bookstore!
- February 1st -- Lab #2 is due on Feb. 5th
- February 5th -- Lab #3 is due on Feb. 12th
- February 7th -- Mid-Term #1 is on Feb. 19th. Practice Questions can be found HERE.
- February 12th -- Practice Test #1 can be found HERE. The PDF version (nicer) can be obtained HERE.
- February 14th -- A tutorial to go over the Practice Test will be held Thursday night at 7:30 pm in N2. I will make accomodations for those who won't be arriving until 8:30pm! If you want more help on the weekend, contact me.
- February 15th -- Practice Test #1 Solutions can be found HERE. The PDF version (nicer) can be obtained HERE.
- February 18th -- Assignment #2 (and the last lab) have been marked. You can go to J2 (my office) and pick them up. They can be found in an envelope outside my office door.
- March 6th -- It looks as if we will be going to the Montreal Planetarium on Friday, March 16th by bus. The cost will be $7 per person and that includes transportation and the ticket into the show! The title of the show is "Realm of the Galaxies"; this is a topic that we will soon be covering in the course. For more info, stay tuned to this webpage ...
- March 11th -- We WILL be going to the Montreal Planetarium on Friday, March 16th. The cost is only $7 and that includes everything! We will leave from the Arches (beside the bus stop) at 4:40pm SHARP. We will be arriving back in Lennoxville at around 11:30pm. I must get your written signature that you plan to attend and I would also like to know if you will staying in Montreal. Those who miss the return bus will have to make their own way back from Montreal.
- March 14th -- If you want to go on the field trip, please let me know. Also note that the next assignment is due on Thursday, March 22nd (or before).
- March 20th -- A tutorial to go over Practice Test #2 will be held in N2 (our classroom) on Thursday March 22nd at 7pm and Sunday March 25th at 2pm.
- March 20th -- Practice Test #2 can be found HERE. Please NOTE that questions 15-19 will NOT be covered on the midterm test and that question 6 in the short-answer section is also not covered.

- April 2nd -- Remember that the "planetarium essay" is due on Monday, April 9th. For those who did not attend, please write a 250 word critique on one of the activities found at this website. It is due also on April 9th.
- April 3rd -- Practice Test #3 can be found HERE. The PDF version can be found HERE. Please NOTE that an extra question was added in the Short-Answer section. Please look at the solutions of Practice Test #3 (specifically question #7).

- April 10th -- There will be two times scheduled for the tutorials concerning the Practice Test. They are: Thursday April 19th at 7pm and Sunday April 22nd at 2pm. Both sessions will be held in N2.
- April 10th -- The Observing Logs are due by Friday, April 27th. If I am not in my office, please slip them under my door.
- April 10th -- Please note that IF you want to start the final exam at 7pm (instead of the scheduled 6pm), you will be allowed to do so. You will still have 3 hours to complete the exam (from the time that you start).
- April 19th -- The last set of assignments (corrected) can be found in the envelope outside of my office door.
